Who said the new year is celebrated only once? On Saturday, 25 January, it gives us great pride and pleasure to be celebrating Chinese New Year and bringing a festival of light to welcome the new year in a jovial spirit full of activities and performances for the whole family. May the new year bask everyone in luminance!

  • The mane event: Join us for a lion dance and show that is said to bring good luck and fortune to all those who practice and watch it. Attendance is complimentary, and the event is suitable for you and your little cubs.
  • A house where art thrives: Nurturing creativity is in everything we do, more so during Chinese New Year. Exclusive art and crafts created by the community will be presented for all to enjoy. Entrance is at AED 20 per person.
  • It’s all in the stars: Visitors are invited to explore the whimsical world of zodiacs and learn more about what their sign means and how it impacts their personalities. As an added bonus, attendees will also unravel their Chinese zodiac and identify their spirit animal!
  • A world of creativity and rewards: As you walk around and enjoy the festivities, don’t be surprised to hear music and see interactive performances taking place around you. Keep your eyes and ears open for surprise giveaways!
  • Shout ‘Kiai’ at the top of your lungs! Don your karategi and learn the grace that accompanies a kata. Not familiar what any of this means? Why not take part in the free Karate classes being offered during the event and find out for yourself?
  • Staying centred: Join us with your children for a free session of yoga centred on your well-being. Learn how to calm yourself and take in your magical surroundings.
  • Join the ‘feastival’: No new year’s celebration is complete without a bevvy of exclusive foods and drinks prepared especially for the occasion. Enjoy a full assortment of flavours for AED 35 per person.
