Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, announced that it will participate as a strategic sponsor and through a unique stand at the exhibition of the 23rd Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2021. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, the WETEX 2021 will kick off today and run until October 7, 2021 in the Dubai Exhibition Centre, at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Empower pointed out that its presence in the exhibition will be an important opportunity for the company to make strategic partnerships, conclude deals, meet with its customers and develop its business, in addition to participating in a wide range of seminars and workshops dealing with various titles related to WETEX 2021.

Empower also announced its participation in the opening of the World Green Economy Summit (WGES) which will be held from 6 to 7 October,to discuss international cooperation in the field of green economy. The WGES is organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, under the theme ‘Mobilizing Efforts for a Sustainable Future’. During the event, Empower will highlight Dubai’s global achievements in sustainability, in addition to discussing the importance of international cooperation and partnerships in facing global challenges, and ways to achieve sustainable development goals.

The 23rd edition of WETEX is particularly unique for being the first to be launched from the grounds of the Dubai Exhibition Center in the Expo 2020 venue, the international event that brings countries of the entire world together. On this occasion, Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, said: “WETEX is organized annually by DEWA under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, and the event has established itself as one of the largest and leading international exhibitions in the water, environment and energy sectors.
